Under the umbrella of SBI Holding GmbH, we invest in selected existing properties and develop our own projects, from new builds to revitalisations. We support the entire investment cycle of the assets within the SBI Family Office, including for external clients. In doing so, we rely on responsibility, precision and transparency to secure long-term success.
SBI Residential GmbH focuses on the development of serviced apartments and boarding houses – both new builds and existing properties – as well as on direct investments in co-ownership and global real estate assets.

Marcus H. Schiermann
Managing Partner
Marcus H. Schiermann began specialising in investments in financial companies, in project development and construction, and in the healthcare market almost 30 years ago. He has served on numerous supervisory and advisory boards for many years and is Managing Director of Profunda Vermögen GmbH. Investments with a total volume of more than three billion euros have been structured and executed under his responsibility.
Florian M. Bormann
Managing Partner
Florian M. Bormann spent 22 years as Managing Director of an internationally active investment company. During that time he oversaw investments with a volume of more than two billion euros and placed around one billion euros of investment capital. Numerous projects were successfully realised in Germany and abroad under his leadership.
